Family Arts Conference 2024

The Family Arts Conference is the UK’s largest arts and culture conference about the involvement of families in the arts - from working with young children to creating multi-generational projects, promoting disability and LGBTQ+ inclusion, and fostering arts participation among the elderly.

I project-managed the 2024 conference which took place at Leeds Playhouse on February 29th and was the busiest one to date - with 28 speakers and over 200 delegates from across the UK. Supporting the event organisers (Family Arts Campaign) as a freelance collaborator, I ensured that everything ran on time, speakers and venue staff were well briefed, the right technology was in place for each session, volunteers were allocated to key positions and (probably most importantly) that my team had time for coffee breaks - making for a calm and professional delegate experience.
